John Heartfield en Valladolid

Para todos aquellos que estén cerca de Valladolid (España), en la Sala Municipal de Exposiciones de San Benito (Calle San Benito, s/n. Valladolid) se puede visitar hasta el 22 de marzo una interesante exposición sobre John Heartfield (Berlín, 1891-1968); fue el inventor del fotomontaje político. El IVAM (Institut Valencià d'Art Modern) adquirió en 1991 unas 300 obras de este artista, diseñador, escenógrafo y promotor cultural que luchó contra el nazismo desde las portadas de libros y revistas. Unas selección de estas obras se muestran en Valladolid.

For all those that are near Valladolid (Spain), in the Municipal Room of Exhibitions of San Benito (Street San Benito, s/n. Valladolid) can be visited until the 22 of March an interesting exhibition on John Heartfield (Berlin, 1891-1968); he was the inventor of the political photo-assembly. The IVAM (Institut Valencià d' Art Modern) acquired in 1991 300 works of this artist, designer, theatrical designer and cultural promoter who fought against nazism from the covers of books and magazines. A selection of these works is in Valladolid.
